Children with an NG tube or a central line such as a Broviac or Hickman line move, play and sleep with a length of tubing that can loop, snag or get pulled. A tube pouch gathers the free end in a small zipped bag worn close to the body, so there is nothing left hanging at school, at the playground or in bed.
The pouch is made of printed polyester with an inner lining and a YKK zip. It clips onto a waistband, a vest or a pyjama top, so it can be moved to wherever the child is most comfortable. Its small size keeps it discreet under a T-shirt.
For an NG tube, the NG securement tape holds the tube on the cheek, and a tube clip can guide the tubing between the face and the pouch.
