Size guide

The Dia-Harness is specifically designed for young children and toddlers with diabetes who wear an insulin pump. This harness offers a secure and comfortable way to carry the insulin pump, allowing kids to move freely throughout the day or night. Available in several models—including a daytime version, a nighttime version, a model with a window, and another with a mesh window—the Dia-Harness ensures easy monitoring of the pump while keeping it safe and out of reach of curious little hands.

Choosing the Right Size

To select the best fit for your child, measure the circumference around the chest area where the harness will be worn. Follow these steps for accurate sizing:

  1. Measure Your Child's Chest: Use a flexible measuring tape to wrap around the chest just below the armpits, where the harness will sit. Ensure the tape is snug but not too tight.
  2. Read the Measurement: Record the measurement where the tape meets, keeping it level and parallel to the ground.
  3. Refer to the size chart in the image above to select the appropriate size based on your child's chest circumference:
    • S: Fits chest circumference of 49 – 68 cm (19.29 – 22.77 inch)
    • M: Fits chest circumference of 56 – 100 cm (22.04 – 39.37 inch)

Size Chart

The Dia-Harness is available in two sizes, S and M, to accommodate different body sizes. Please refer to the size chart in the image above for detailed measurements in both centimeters and inches.

Fit Tips

- The harness should fit snugly but comfortably around your child's chest, ensuring the insulin pump stays secure without restricting movement or causing discomfort.
- If your child's measurement falls between sizes, consider choosing the smaller size for a snugger fit to prevent the harness from shifting or sliding.
- The harness is designed to position the insulin pump in the back, out of reach of the child, providing extra safety and preventing accidental tampering.
- Equipped with adjusters, the harness can easily adapt to your child's growth, offering a perfect and customizable fit.

Product Features

- **Multiple Models Available:** Choose from a daytime harness, a nighttime harness, a model with a window, or one with a mesh window for easy access and monitoring of the insulin pump.
- **Safe and Secure:** The harness keeps the pump positioned in the back, preventing the child from accessing it and ensuring the pump remains safely out of reach.
- **Adjustable and Comfortable:** Features adjusters to customize the fit, along with soft, breathable fabric for all-day and all-night comfort.

How do I find the right size?

Measure around your child's chest, under the arms. Day Time: S 49 to 68 cm, M 56 to 100 cm. Night Time and window models: S 49 to 80 cm, M 52 to 100 cm. As a guide, S suits about 8 months to 1.5 years and M about 1.5 to 3 years.

How to wear it

Put the pump in the back pocket and route the tubing towards the infusion site. Slip the harness on like a small vest, close the clips and adjust the straps so it sits snugly without squeezing. The pocket stays out of reach of little hands but easy for parents to open.

Compatible devices

  • Medtronic MiniMed

I ordered this little harness for my nephew who lives on Réunion Island. And my sister is absolutely delighted; it's lightweight, practical, and the little one feels much more comfortable.

It's great. I bought it when he was 10 months old, and it fits him perfectly. It doesn't bother him when he's crawling or playing. If I'd known, I would have bought it sooner. My baby started at 6 months and has had an insulin pump ever since.
It would have been great for us back then.
But now he has it, and we're thrilled!
